Eco-Warriors’ Uniform Design Underway

More than just clothing, these uniforms will serve as personal protective gear for our Eco-Warriors, who brave the streets of Puerto Princesa in all weather conditions. At the same time, the uniforms provide a strong sense of identity and pride, giving them recognition as key players in building cleaner and more sustainable communities.

Mr. Brian Agustin, Operations Officer of Project Zacchaeus’ Eco Kolek, is carefully reviewing the new uniform design for our Eco-Warriors—those who champion plastic collection and proper waste management across Palawan.

By professionalizing their role and giving them proper gear, we elevate the dignity of former informal waste pickers, now transformed into community-based partners and leaders. Their journey shows that when given the right tools, support, and recognition, waste pickers can lead the way in driving environmental and social change.

Project Zacchaeus looks forward with excitement to the impact these uniforms will bring—not just in ensuring safety and visibility, but in strengthening the sense of purpose and belonging of our Eco-Warriors. This is another step toward our mission of empowering Palaweños while protecting our environment. 🌍✨
