Eco Warriors Receive Vehicle Maintenance Training to Extend Lifespan of Waste Collection Vehicles

Eco Kolek recently organized a basic vehicle maintenance training session aimed at extending the lifespan of waste collection vehicles. The training, designed for Eco Warriors, focused on practical steps for vehicle care and maintenance.

The session saw the participation of 12 Eco Warriors, with 5 males and 7 females in attendance. The training covered essential maintenance techniques, including routine inspections, basic repairs, and proper care procedures to ensure the vehicles remain in optimal condition.

Two Eco Warriors from Sicsican, Jose Inocencio and Glen Castronuevo, played a key role in the training by sharing their personal maintenance practices. Their insights provided valuable, real-world examples of effective vehicle upkeep, enhancing the learning experience for all participants.

By equipping the Eco Warriors with this knowledge, Project Zacchaeus together with Eco Kolek aims to improve the efficiency and longevity of the waste collection fleet, ultimately contributing to more sustainable waste management practices. This initiative underscores the project's commitment to not only improving waste collection processes but also ensuring that the tools essential to these efforts are well-maintained and reliable.
